details and pictures

Set amongst the pines, birches, heather, ferns, rocks and flowers on the western shore of Loch Awe about 30 miles south-west of Oban and 15 south of Taynuilt - in a truly Scottish dream location - this traditional farmhouse has stood on this spot from before 1745.

It has been architecturally re-designed internally to make a light and airy, spacious, warm, double-glazed house whose original exterior still harmonises so well with the beauty of the surrounding natural grounds.

views from the house

From French windows off the sitting-room at the back of the house there is a large deck with views across a tiny burn to the wooded hills.
